J.P. Lofgren is the owner of this web site. He works as the State Epidemiologist at the Alabama Department of Public Health. Views expressed on this web site are not the official views of his employer. Dr. Lofgren is a graduate of Harvard Medical School. His training in public health was in the EIS program with the CDC. He worked as a medical epidemiologist for 11 years with the Arkansas Department of Health and 12 years with the Alabama Department of Public Health.
